ABOUT US
Amy first served as the Associate Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Newton, NC. She was ordained as an Elder of the United Methodist Church in June of 2008. In 2009, Amy received her second appointment as the pastor of Broad Street United Methodist in Mooresville. Amy married Stephen Freeze of Mooresville, NC, in 2006, and in August of 2009, they welcomed little Molly into their family. Besides spending time with Stephen and Molly, Amy enjoys reading, watching Grey's Anatomy, exercising, cooking, and trying to learn how to play golf. 
Reverend Amy F. Freeze was born February 7, 1980, to Carlton "Butch" and Eva Foley of China Grove, NC. Amy attended Catawba College where she received a tennis scholarship and earned a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy with an English minor. After college, Amy attended Duke Divinity School where she earned her Master of Divinity. There, Amy was a Duke scholar--recipient of a full tuition scholarship--and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

The mission of Broad Street United Methodist Church, Mooresville, North Carolina is to be an ambassador for Christ the Cornerstone. Using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we will faithfully labor with steadfast love, becoming one with Christ. Proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, we seek to make disciples of all people.
